Our story: why anarchism, and why Zen?
Today, we identify as anarchists. Perhaps this has been a long time coming. For years, we've been exposed to the corruption of the Philippine government—one that no election has changed. Finally, its brutal treatment of people as a response to the pandemic awakened us. But when we expressed ourselves, we were gaslit by friends and family, causing us to question our sanity. People around us justified their coercion to be "for the greater good," and that this is how the world works so we should just accept it.Thankfully, we remained true to ourselves and our innate desire to keep searching for the Truth. Our journey included tuning in to the worldwide liberty movement, libertarian podcasts, and Bitcoin philosophy. That led us to discover and fall in love with anarchism, a philosophy based on personal liberty and freedom, grounded in non-violence.The process was painful and ugly, as the Truth contains its share of the Black Pill. But from that nihilism emerged the ability to detach and a strange sense of hope. We had stumbled on a spiritual reframing of anarchism: Zen Buddhism.With our eyes more open and our minds freer than ever before, we're challenging everything we've come to know about our world. And we want to share the answers we find with you.
